Our Philosophy
In Kindergarten, our integrated, holistic approach to teaching and learning fosters each child’s spiritual, emotional, physical, social, and cognitive wellbeing. We believe children learn, explore, and make choices as they experience their world. Educational experiences are authentic and designed to foster a love of learning.
In Kindergarten, play is the vehicle for young children’s learning. Through play children can explore, discover, test theories, improvise, create, and imagine.
Through play, children develop dispositions such as curiosity, co-operation, confidence, creativity, commitment, enthusiasm, persistence, and imagination.
In line with the Kindergarten Curriculum Guidelines, we aspire for our children in Kindergarten to:
- develop a strong sense of identity.
- be connected with and contribute to their world.
- develop a strong sense of wellbeing.
- have confidence and be involved learners.
- be effective communicators.
DAYS: Kindergarten runs Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
TIMES: 8.50am – 2.50pm
